Blogging

A lot of people blog these days, and many do so in the videogame industry. I've seen quite a few and some of them cover some interesting stuff, and others I guess are just covering whatever happens to be on the minds of the author. I don't really find those to be too exciting, but to each their own.

From what I understand, blogging is a way to get your name out there and that is mainly why I am doing this. I also love to write in general and the videogame industry along with those fun little games are always exciting things for me to speak and write about.

Some people get fired over blogs. Now that is just silly. I love my job so I have no real reason to speak ill about my daily work life in a public place. But even so I really don't see what's wrong with it. It may not be a smart idea to post pictures of yourself and talk about how you hate you job in addition to describing your bosses in an unflattering matter, but last time I checked we live in America. And, and, and... well free speech used to be a good excuse. Whatever happened to that anyways? That really doesn't legally protect anyone anymore, does it?
